This is a UI concept that I designed after doing some research on the game Homeworld: Shipbreakers. I used feedback from the Homeworld community, the interface from both Homeworld 1 and 2, and my familiarity with RTS games, like Supreme Commander, as sources of inspiration for this design. I have compiled a PDF document that details the process and the underlying reason as to how and why this approach was used.
